YOUR LIST. OUR WASH. YOUR NEXT CLIENT.SCROLL TO RIPEN ↓

Busy doesn’t
mean buying.

Every business has a list it already paid for.
Most of it is still waiting.

Past customers. Old enquiries. Unaccepted quotes. Working them takes human hours. Ripen works the space between the first conversation and a buyer ready for you.

Meet the wash ↗
01

Your list stays yours.

Start with the relationships you already have.

02

No evidence, no climb.

Every move rests on the buyer’s own words.

03

You do the closing.

We hand over readiness. The sale is yours.

One standard.
Different starting points.

Work an existing relationship. Start a new one.
Prepare the list before either.

Good things
take qualification.

Readiness isn’t a score. It’s something
a buyer proves. Follow the evidence.

01 / REACH OUT

A conversation.
Not a call count.

First, check the record and the basis for contact. Then we start a real two-way exchange on the channel the list allows.

THE BUYER’S OWN WORDSIN CONTACT
“Yes, I’m the person who looks after that.”
A real two-way exchange↗

Illustrative conversation · not client data

A soft yes
is not Ready.

INTEREST ISN’T ENOUGH
“Sounds good.
Send me something.”

A request for information deserves an answer.
It does not, by itself, establish readiness.

THIS IS READY
“Yes, let’s meet Tuesday at 10
to scope the proposal.”

A scoped, timed commitment.
Ready where this is the agreed next step.

Illustrative examples from our qualification rules. Not client quotes.

01

The quote comes with it.

Every claim points to the buyer’s own words. You can check our reading.

02

Nothing is overwritten.

Corrections are added. The history shows what changed.

03

A human approves.

Handovers and final closures need a person to say yes.

Judge us on what you signed, not just what we sent. We have not published a pilot result yet.

COLD TO READY.

Your list has
more in it.

Let’s find the people ready to move.
A conversation first. Your list stays with you.

Talk to us about your list ↗

How it works

Nobody climbs on our opinion.

A prospect moves forward on evidence they produced themselves, in their own words, on the record.

Your list. The same rule.

Past customers, old enquiries, unaccepted quotes or new inbound. The people on the list may be business buyers or consumers.

We work between the first conversation and a buyer ready for you. You keep your list and your existing system. The handover goes back into what you already use.

Four steps. One pipe.

  • Reach out

Check the record and the basis for contacting that person on that channel. Contact starts only where the record allows it.

  • Wash

Keep the response in the prospect’s own words. Place them where the evidence puts them. Unknown stays unknown.

  • Mature

Answer real questions. Revisit held buyers at the time they gave. Re-read the evidence before deciding what happens next.

  • Hand over

A human checks the evidence. You receive the buyer, their words and the context. You close.

The states are earned.

  • Unknown

A record exists. Nothing usable has been established yet. A name on a list earns no more than that.

  • In contact

A real two-way exchange. An email open, a voicemail or a brush-off does not count.

  • Aware

They name the problem as their own. Us telling them they have one does not count.

  • Interested

A real question, a constraint or effort to understand the offer. Interest and commitment are different; a bare yes needs its context.

  • Ready

A concrete commitment to the next step defined for the offer. Money, due diligence or enthusiasm alone does not establish readiness.

Three useful outcomes.

  • Ready for handover

A buyer, their verbatim words and the context. A human approves the handover. You make the sale.

  • Held with a date

Where a person gives a return date, keep it with their words. A vague later is a pause without an invented date. Re-read the evidence before acting.

  • Closed with a reason

A structural no is recorded, with human approval before closure. A bad mood is not a reason to close someone out.

The record makes it checkable.

  • Their words attached

Every claim points to the quote it came from. You can check our reading against what was actually said.

  • History preserved

Nothing is overwritten. Corrections are added to the record, so the history shows what changed.

  • A human on irreversible decisions

A person approves a handover or final closure. The machine does not make either decision alone.

Reach beyond the familiar.

Email is configured for the programme. Calling and other channels are scoped separately, including the requirements for that market. The evidence standard stays the same.

Partner programmes

One partnership.
More of the right conversations.

Bring Ripen to the businesses you serve. Start with a programme for your own organisation, then offer separate programmes to members, customers or exhibitors.

Download the partner guide ↗

Solve one of your own problems first.

  • Membership

Work prospects, renewals coming due or lapsed members. Find who is ready, who needs a later conversation and who should be closed out.

  • Member offers

Work an offer to your existing member base. Agree what meaningful take-up looks like before the list is contacted.

  • Exhibitors and sponsors

Work prospective exhibitors and sponsors. Hand over a stand or sponsorship conversation with specifics behind it.

Three levels. Two buyers.

01

Your association or event

You buy a programme for your own list. You can also introduce Ripen as a member or exhibitor benefit.

02

The member or exhibitor

They can buy a programme for their dormant customer records, new enquiries or post-show leads. A commercial arrangement with you is agreed in advance.

03

The people on their list

Business buyers or consumers. They are the people being contacted, not an extra level of Ripen customers. The same evidence rule applies.

A member benefit with a practical job.

Your members already paid to acquire their customers and enquiries. Ripen works what they already own.

A setup fee covers the programme, with a fee per Ready handover. Organisers can include post-show follow-up in an exhibitor package. Continuing services are monthly.

No membership roll is treated as blanket permission to contact everyone on it. The permitted channel is checked for each record.

Begin with a batch. Decide what follows.

A batch is one list worked over an agreed period. It has a start, a finish and a record of what happened. A stream handles new records continuously.

Start where there is a clear purpose and a list you can lawfully work. Agree the outcome definition, handover owner and reporting before extending it to members.

Agencies have clients and candidates in their records. Readiness needs evidence on either side.

How we charge

The charge follows the programme.

A setup fee covers the work. A fee per Ready handover recognises the outcome.

The work and the outcome.

  • A setup fee

Covers the work of preparing and running a programme.

  • A fee per Ready handover

This is the outcome. A human approves every handover, so a soft yes is never charged.

  • If nothing becomes Ready

You pay the setup fee and nothing more.

  • Continuing services

Inbound follow-up and client conversations run on a monthly subscription by volume. Client conversations also include a fee per Ready handover.

  • Exhibitor packages

Organisers can include post-show follow-up in an exhibitor package.

A batch or a stream.

  • A batch is a project

A dormant list, worked once, with a verdict at the end. The purpose, period and outputs are agreed before work begins.

  • A stream is ongoing

New records and inbound are worked continuously. A batch can become a stream when that is useful to the buyer.

The work has a cost. The outcome has a value.

We do not price by dials, minutes or sends.

A human approves every Ready handover. The charging structure does not change the evidence required.

Prices are shared when we talk about your list.

Preparing the list
is a separate scope.

Our enrichment service covers research, provider lookups and review before a campaign starts.

Frequently asked

Plain answers.

What the rule means, what comes back and how a programme starts.

The questions that matter.

What is Ripen?

Ripen works a list you already own until the people ready to buy reach you, with their words as evidence. You make the sale.

What earns a ready handover?

A concrete commitment to the next step defined for that campaign. A scoped, timed preparation call may be the outcome for one offer; another needs a different commitment. Money, due diligence or a soft yes alone is not enough.

What happens to everyone else?

People stay where their evidence puts them. A real buyer with a later date can be held. A structural no can be closed with a reason. A human approves final closure.

Who owns the list?

You do. It stays yours. The treatment of records, the held pool and any handback is agreed before work starts.

Does this replace my CRM?

No. Ripen works alongside your existing system. We agree the handover destination, format and any required connector before starting.

Can every record be contacted?

No. A record must have a basis for contact on the channel being used. A list, membership roll or scanned badge is not permission by itself.

Is this only for business-to-business lists?

No. A member’s list may contain business buyers or consumers. The same qualification rule applies. The contact basis and language depend on the programme.

Can an association offer Ripen to its members?

Yes. Start with an association programme, a member offer or an organiser’s exhibitor programme. The buyer, scope and commercial arrangement are agreed separately for each.

How do you charge?

A setup fee covers the work. A fee for each Ready handover is the outcome. Continuing services are monthly. If nothing becomes Ready, you pay the setup fee only. Prices are shared when we talk about your list.

How do we judge whether it works?

By what you signed after the handover, not simply how many names arrived. We call this purity. No pilot result or conversion rate is published yet.

Do you work investor lists or capital raises?

Not at this stage. Finance here means mortgage and insurance brokers.

Where are you based?

Ripen Holdings Limited is based in Auckland, New Zealand. Contact Andy at [email protected].

Which services can I use?

Reactivation, outbound and nurture are ready to start. Inbound and client conversations are set up with you. Enrichment is scoped per list.

Can Ripen help prepare or enrich a list?

Enrichment is largely built and tested on a 5,000-company conference list: research companies, find evidence-backed addresses, check mailbox status and keep exclusions visible. Embedded integrations and provider agreements are pending. Discuss a scoped preparation pilot.

Does a found email mean I can contact that person?

No. Finding an address, checking a mailbox and establishing permission to contact are separate decisions. Company headquarters alone is not proof of a person’s location or permission.

Where can I read the service papers?

Download the full service guide. Each service page also has its own one-page paper.

Ripen / Reactivation

The next opportunity
may already know you.

Past customers, old enquiries and unaccepted proposals hold unfinished conversations. Find out which still deserve your team's time.

SCOPED PROGRAMME

Agree the list, contact basis and period before launch.

Replace a quiet record with a useful answer.

Still considering it. Waiting for a change. Already gone elsewhere. Understanding the reason helps you decide where to act and where to stop.

Pick up the conversation

Start with the history you can stand behind. Ask what has changed and whether the original need still exists. An old enquiry is context, not a claim that they want to buy today.

Know what comes next

Hand over a specific commitment with the person's words attached. Keep an agreed later date where one exists. Record a clear no and honour an opt-out.

Your team keeps the relationship

Ripen prepares the next conversation. Your team owns the advice, proposal and close. A human approves handover, with the customer's history and latest expectations in view.

Begin with one dormant list

Choose an offer, a period and an owner for the handovers. Check previous outreach and exclusions before contact. Review the reasons behind the results, as well as the totals.

Make the introduction.
Earn the next step.

A relevant introduction starts a conversation. What the person says next determines whether it becomes an opportunity.

SCOPED PROGRAMME

Email campaigns are configured and approved for your offer. Other channels are scoped separately.

Interest is useful. Commitment is different.

A request for information deserves an answer. A ready handover needs a concrete commitment to the next step agreed for that campaign.

Start with relevance

Define the audience, their likely problem and a credible reason to speak. Use approved facts about your offer. Keep the opening focused on one small, understandable response.

Work the response

Answer the actual question, surface the constraint and establish whether there is a next move. Follow-up timing and limits are agreed before the programme starts.

You receive more than a name

The handover includes their words, the purpose of the next conversation and anything your team needs to resolve. A budget or due-diligence question alone does not make someone ready.

Define success before the first message

Agree the permitted list, approved copy, sender, response handling and handover owner. A useful outcome might be a scoped discovery conversation, not an immediate purchase.

Ripen / Inbound follow-up

An enquiry deserves
a next conversation.

A form fill tells you someone reached out. A conversation tells you what they need, what is holding them back and what they want to do next.

BY ARRANGEMENT

Inbound connections are scoped for your systems before launch. A general self-service integration is not yet available.

Carry the question forward with its context.

The proposed inbound programme brings Ripen's qualification discipline to new enquiries. Each connection to your website or systems is scoped first.

Understand the enquiry

Use the information already supplied. Clarify the purpose, answer from your approved material and identify questions that need your team. Avoid making the person start again.

Prepare the right handover

Bring forward the specific next step, the person's words and the remaining questions. A download, form submission or email open is not evidence of readiness by itself.

Fit the way your business receives demand

Agree the source of enquiries, response ownership, operating expectations and destination for handovers. Confirm the integration before promising a continuous or immediate response service.

Scope one enquiry route first

Choose one entry point and one offer. Define the questions Ripen can answer, the escalation path and the commitment that earns a handover. Rehearse the route before release.

Setup, then a monthly subscription by enquiry volume.

Ripen / Nurture and handover

Keep the interest.
Understand the hesitation.

Some people need an answer. Some need time. Others have already decided. Give each conversation a next step that fits what was actually said.

SCOPED PROGRAMME

Response handling, follow-up timing and the handover destination are agreed for each campaign.

Move at the pace the evidence supports.

A real question can show interest. Readiness requires commitment. A vague 'later' is a pause, not a date invented to keep a pipeline looking busy.

Resolve what matters

Use your approved information to answer questions and clarify constraints. Bring your team in when the decision needs their judgement. Keep promises within the scope of the offer.

Hand over with clarity

Show why this person is ready for the agreed next step. Include the evidence, their expectations and unresolved points. A human approves the handover and its destination.

Make the waiting visible

An agreed return date belongs on the record. So does a pause with no date. A clear no has a reason. Opt-outs stop contact. These outcomes are useful even when no sale follows.

Agree what your team will take over

Define the commitment, the person who receives it and the response expected from your business. Review downstream outcomes so the programme is judged beyond the number of handovers.

Included for 90 days with every reactivation and outbound batch, then continues monthly if you want it.

Ripen / Client conversations

Your offer.
A conversation with substance.

For complex offers that need educating. Give prospective customers a way to explore your offer, ask useful questions and work towards a next step grounded in their needs.

CONFIGURED FOR YOUR OFFER

Client conversations require approved material, routing and a tested integration. Broader rollout is scoped individually.

Your facts. Their questions. A clear boundary.

A client-specific conversation draws on approved material and the context of that offer. It should recognise when an answer or decision belongs with your team.

Explain what you offer

Shape the conversation around your services, audience and approved answers. Industry context helps interpret the question; your own facts determine what can be promised.

Recognise the next step

Agree what progress looks like for that offer. A question, a pause and a commitment mean different things. Preserve the evidence rather than treating every positive reply as a sale.

A configured experience, not a generic script

Define the knowledge, the boundaries and the route to a person. Carry the conversation into the handover so your team can continue from where the prospect left it.

Begin with one client and one offer

Review the material, test representative conversations and confirm identity, routing and escalation before release. The destination and supported next steps are part of the setup.

Ripen / List preparation and enrichment

Know the list
before you work it.

Company names, missing addresses and uncertain records make a campaign harder to trust. Prepare an evidence-backed list with the gaps left visible.

SCOPED SERVICE

Enrichment is largely built and has been tested on a 5,000-company conference list. Talk to us about a scoped list preparation programme. Embedded integrations and provider agreements are scoped separately.

A blank is better than a convincing guess.

The Ripen enrichment service records what is known, where it came from and what still needs review. A found address is not permission to contact.

Establish the company

Research domains and headquarters from traceable sources. Distinguish group headquarters from local entities and flag international offices. Keep ambiguous company matches unresolved.

Prepare the person

Separate published addresses, evidence-based inferences and provider results. Check mailbox status, review possible duplicates and apply agreed ownership and exclusion rules.

Get a master you can explain

Keep original records and row identities. Add sources, qualification, reasons and review status. Produce a separate candidate export so held or excluded people remain visible in the master.

Start with a scoped preparation pilot

Agree the fields, source priorities, budget and acceptance rules. Review coverage and unresolved records before expanding. Personal location and contact eligibility remain separate from company HQ.
